Refund Policy

Our commitment to fair and transparent service delivery

At Swiss Business Insights, we are committed to providing high-quality consulting services and products to our clients. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines regarding refunds for our various services and products.

1. General Refund Policy

Our refund policy varies depending on the type of service or product purchased. As a professional consulting firm, we invest significant resources in preparing and delivering our services. We ask that clients carefully consider their needs before making a purchase.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and include the following information:

  • Full name and contact information
  • Date of purchase
  • Description of the service or product purchased
  • Reason for requesting a refund
  • Order number or invoice number

2. Consulting Services Refund Policy

2.1 Initial Consultation

For initial consultations that are paid in advance:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled once within 30 days at no additional cost.

2.2 Ongoing Consulting Services

For ongoing consulting engagements with a signed agreement:

  • Refunds for ongoing consulting services are governed by the terms specified in your consulting agreement.
  • Generally, if you wish to terminate the agreement before its completion, we will calculate the services delivered to date and issue a refund for any undelivered services, less any applicable early termination fees as specified in your agreement.
  • No refund will be provided for services already delivered.

2.3 Project-Based Consulting

For fixed-fee consulting projects:

  • If you cancel a project before work has begun, a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee will be issued.
  • If you cancel a project after work has begun but before completion, we will evaluate the percentage of work completed and may issue a partial refund for the uncompleted portion, less a 15% administrative fee.
  • Once a project is completed, no refunds will be issued.

3. Digital Products Refund Policy

3.1 Reports, Guides, and Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products:

  • We do not offer refunds for digital products after they have been downloaded or accessed.
  • If you have purchased a digital product but have not yet downloaded or accessed it, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • If a digital product contains significant errors or is substantially different from its description, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement at our discretion.

3.2 Webinars and Online Courses

For pre-recorded webinars and online courses:

  • If you have not accessed more than 25% of the content, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • If you have accessed more than 25% of the content, no refund will be provided.

For live webinars:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled webinar are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled webinar are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred to another person or applied to a future webinar within 90 days.

4. Events and Workshops Refund Policy

For in-person or virtual events and workshops:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event are eligible for a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made 15-30 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.
  • You may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost by notifying us in writing at least 48 hours before the event.

If we cancel an event:

  • In the event that we cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered the option of a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date.
  • We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred due to event cancellation.

5. Subscription Services Refund Policy

For subscription-based services:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us or through your account dashboard if available.
  • For monthly subscriptions, no partial refunds are provided for the current billing period. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • For annual subscriptions canceled within 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal, a prorated refund may be issued for the unused portion, less any applicable discounts received for the annual commitment.
  • For annual subscriptions canceled after 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal, no refund will be provided unless specified otherwise in your subscription agreement.

6. Processing of Refunds

6.1 Refund Timeline

We will process approved refund requests within 10 business days of receiving the request. Depending on your payment method and financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

6.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. For example:

  • Credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card.
  • Bank transfers will be refunded via bank transfer to the original account.
  • If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method.

6.3 Currency and Exchange Rates

Refunds will be processed in the same currency as the original payment. If currency exchange rates have fluctuated between the time of purchase and the time of refund, the amount refunded will be based on the original transaction amount in the currency charged.

7. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

7.1 Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, etc.), we may modify our refund policy. We will always strive to find a fair solution in such cases.

7.2 Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances can occur. If you experience a serious and unexpected situation that prevents you from using our services as intended, please contact us. We will consider refund requests outside our standard policy on a case-by-case basis.

7.3 Promotional or Discounted Purchases

Services or products purchased at a discounted rate or as part of a promotion may have different refund terms, which will be specified at the time of purchase.

8. No-Refund Services

The following services are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Custom research or analysis that has been delivered according to the agreed specifications
  • Emergency or expedited consulting services that have been delivered
  • Services where we have incurred third-party costs on your behalf (though we will make reasonable efforts to recover such costs)
  • Any services explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase

9. Disputes and Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our services or believe you are entitled to a refund that has been denied:

  1. First, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] to discuss your concerns.
  2. If the issue cannot be resolved directly with our customer service team, please escalate your concern to our management by emailing [email protected] with a detailed explanation of the situation.
  3. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and may offer alternative solutions such as service credits, alternative services, or partial refunds when full refunds are not applicable under this policy.

10. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review this Refund Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
